Donna Hannah - Boswell

  • Favorite Scripture: Psalm 118:14 "The Lord is my strength and song"
  • Favorite Book of the Bible: Ruth
  • Personal Thought: God has blessed my life in so many ways, I could never sit down and write it. I wrote a song in November of 2002 that explains how I feel from my heart. Take time to listen to the words in "Living to Leave"

Donna formed Second Coming Ministries in 1994. 1Thessalonians 4:16-18 says, "For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

Donna handles bookings, mail-outs, sings, plays keyboard and writes most of the material for the group. She sang her first song (Rock of Ages) in her home church in Senoia at the age of 5. Donna took piano lessons for 8 months - giving up on piano lessons, began to play by ear. She began playing piano in her church at age 12. Donna credits her childhood years to her Nanny and Aunt Doris.

It wasn't until Donna was 15 years old when she accepted Jesus into her heart.

Along with being a part of Second Coming Ministries, Donna teaches Kindergarten at McDonough Christian Academy, she also is 'Host' on a local cable TV program called "Gospel Now" since 1991. She is the wife of Vernon Boswell who is also a part of Second Coming Ministries. Donna is a member of First Assembly of God in Griffin, Georgia.
